If you’ve been caving before and want a more challenging experience we have a number of caves in the Mendips and South Wales which offer just that. Manor Farm cave in the Mendips is similar to Swildons Hole in that you follow a stream way deep underground but in Manor Farm you have to negotiate three pitches (vertical sections of the cave) to get to the stream way. The first is a nice open entrance shaft about 15m deep, the second is a tortuous rift that is easy to slide down but very difficult to re-ascend and finally a short pitch at the start of the stream way that we abseil down and climb back up.
We try and tailor our caving trips to you from the easiest trips through to the hardest. If you would like to try a more challenging cave get in touch and we can talk through the next step.
