A full day caving gives you the best opportunity to really immerse yourself in caving for the whole day. We run the day in one of two ways. If you haven’t been caving before we would suggest visiting two caves, one before and one after lunch. In the morning we would go to Goatchurch Cavern (see caves we visit) where there are a fantastic range of difficulties, challenges and passages to explore. Then in the afternoon with the experience and skills you have learnt in the morning we will go to Swildons Hole have a great time and get soaking wet.
If you have been caving before or you are looking for a bigger physical challenge we would spend the whole session exploring Swildons Hole and make our way down to sump one. For the very brave there is the possibility of reaching sump two. This is one of the best caving trips in the whole of the UK.
We will equip you with an oversuit, helmet and light. In Goatchurch you will remain dry but in Swildons you will get wet so you will need to bring a change of clothes. If you are undertaking the trip to sump two we will provide you with a furry undersuit (onesy) and suggest you bring some thermals and a wetsuit if you have one.
